- We setup your account and give you a custom signup page and video to share
- We give you proven content to use for inviting residents to join
- You push the invitations out in your online and offline communications channels
- We send our own invitations using our database of all your residents, to increase the panel size and improve balance as needed
- You pick a topic and tell us what you want to know
- You can also look at survey questions we have done on the same topic for other local governments
- We work with you to draft the custom questions and answer sets that will get you the exact data you need
- We finalize the questions with you and you approve them
- We load, test, translate (if needed) and schedule launch
- You kick back and relax
- We send out emails, texts and phone calls - plus reminders - according to how each resident has chosen to participate
- We collect input from residents for 48 hours
- We close the survey with a high response rate (typically 50%+)
- We calculate and report full results on an interactive results dashboard that is simple and easy to use

FlashVote provides statistical data from a scientific sample of the population
The main question we get about survey input is: “What percentage of our population do we need to hear from?”
The answer is always a surprise… it isn’t a percentage. The percentage of your population doesn’t matter to statistics. Only the total number of responses matters.
A good target range is about 200 to 600 people – no matter the size of your population – if you have a valid scientific sample.
